OM2 operates on the principle of keeping a ‘small and lean’ central team of lead partners and staff, who work, as needed, with a selected range of ‘associate’ partners and specialist suppliers.
In this way, we can keep our professional fees as low as possible, whilst being able to assemble the most skilled team for each client assignment.
OM2 lead partners
Mike Owen, MBA, BA, Dip M, MCIM, MMRS
Mike, Managing Partner, has worked for over 20 years in sales, marketing, communications, general management and consulting across commercial, public and not-for-profit sectors.
His unusually wide experience includes: consumer publishing, business information, finance, automotive, insurance, travel, government enterprise support, industrial services, logistics, health, pharmaceuticals, IT software, housing, accounting services, legal services ..… and several other sectors.
Big names he has worked for include Time Warner, British Telecom, Barclays Bank, Lloyds Bank, the NHS, Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has also been a senior marketing consultant with Grant Thornton Robson Rhodes.
Anthony Morris
Anthony has 20 years’ management experience across a variety of sectors including catering, consumer durables, manufacturing and charities.
He has set up, run and successfully sold two service-based businesses.
His key areas of functional management experience include customer service, sales administration, purchasing, operations and project management.

Pete Skinner
Pete is a general marketer with over 20 years’ experience across many sectors, including consumer goods, retail, industrial, pharmaceuticals and IT, to name just a few. Major companies he has worked for previously include Boots, Hamleys, and Unichem.
Barbara Halstead
Barbara is a very experienced marketer who has been providing marketing services and consultancy for over 30 years. She has created revenue-driven marketing strategies and lead-generation campaigns for start-ups, small and mid-sized companies across many market sectors, including IT and not-for-profit. Colin Peck
Colin is a specialist in corporate and business-to-business PR and media relations. After starting his career in journalism, he moved into corporate communications, working for such organisations as Canadian Pacific and Hawker Siddeley. He then moved onto the agency side, holding senior roles with Shandwick and Nexus. With a hands-on approach, Colin is a skilled researcher and idea generator for stories as well as having top-class skills in writing, business PR, crisis management and internal communications.
Romano Dowbusz
Romano has worked in IT and computer services for over 20 years, including time with IT supplier Hewlett Packard. His focused interest and expertise today is the field of internet marketing and, in particular, creating cost-effective websites for small and mid-sized companies.
Phillip Atkins
Philip has produced creative marketing solutions for over 20 years starting as a junior designer in a small agency. He moved on to larger London agencies working on accounts such as Vodafone, UEFA, Ericsson, Glaxo, Bayer and Delphi to name just a few. A talented ‘hands-on’ creative person, Philip specializes in brand development and visual communications for print or web.
Russell Witherington Russ is a very experienced photographer and has worked on a great range of image and communications projects. If you need a picture to say a 1000 words, Russ is the man for taking that picture! Russ has been established as a photographer since 1991.
Geoff Ford
Geoff's experience lies in telemarketing and business development. With a wide-ranging career history, Geoff has over 25 years' experience in developing, refining and running telemarketing and business development projects for product and service industries. As a director of a west-end company, he also has a lot of experience in staff selection and developing staff performance.
